Consumer Consumption

I found the graph from last week’s class on consumer consumption and how it spreads very interesting. The first thing I noticed is how fast things spread when they catch on. Once cell phones were created and became affordable, their consumption skyrocketed to now almost everyone has a cell phone, more so than house phones. Air conditioning caught on very fast with the movements of people to the west and southwest where it can get very hot. Then it started to level off after. Regional events like this can play a role on consumer consumption.
